How to Adjust Line Height and Spacing?

Cake provides flexible settings for adjusting line height and spacing, allowing you to fully customize your resume layout. The following sections explain how to edit:

  • Snippet Editing

    • Block Spacing

    • Paragraph Line Height

    • Heading Line Height

Snippet Editing

To adjust the Block Spacing, Paragraph Line Height and Heading Line Height:

  1. Enter the resume edit page.

  2. Click the "Palette" icon in the upper-left corner.

Block Spacing

Find "Block Spacing" and use the following options:

  • Click “+” to increase block spacing.

  • Click “” to decrease block spacing.

  • You may also enter a specific number to precisely control block spacing.

Paragraph Line Height

Find "Paragraph Line Height" and use the following options:

  • Click “+” to increase paragraph line height.

  • Click “–” to decrease paragraph line height.

  • You may also enter a specific number to precisely control paragraph line-height.

Note: It is impossible to adjust line height for a single snippet or specific text.
The system applies paragraph line height settings to the entire resume at once.

Heading Line Height

Find "Heading Line Height" and use the following options:

  • Click “+” to increase heading line height.

  • Click “–” to decrease heading line height.

  • You may also enter a specific number to precisely control heading line height.


Block Editing

Line Height

You can adjust the line height within a block using the steps below:

  1. Select the block you want to edit and place your cursor at the location where you want to adjust the line height.

  2. Click “Line Height” in the top toolbar of the resume editor.

  3. From the dropdown menu, choose the spacing option that best fits your layout.
