Cake provides flexible tools for adding Tags, Special Characters, Icons and Logos to help you customize your resume. Below is an overview of how these features work:

Add Tag
You can use the "Add Tag" feature to insert a tag with an embedded link into your resume. Follow the steps below:
Open the resume editor.
Click the position in the resume where you want to add a tag.
In the top toolbar, select "Add Tag".
Enter the following information to create your tag:
Tag Name (required)
Tag Icon
Select from the Icon Library: browse through Cake’s seven themed categories, or use the search bar to find icons by keyword
Upload Image:
Select image from photo gallery
Upload image via website URL
Enter Embed Links
Choose Border Color
Choose from Cake’s designer color palettes
Enter a custom Hex color code
Border Radius
Click "+" to increase the radius
Click "–" to decrease the radius
After confirming the preview, click “Apply" to insert the tag into your resume
Note: Please make sure that “Show Icons” remains On; otherwise, the tags will not display their icons correctly. If you previously turned off this feature, you will need to re-add the tag icons through the icon library or by uploading images after turning it back on.
Add Special Characters
You can use the “Special Characters” feature to insert special characters. Please follow the steps below:
Go to the resume editing page.
Click the location in your resume where you want to insert a special character.
In the top toolbar of the resume editor, click “Special Characters”.
Browse through Cake’s seven themed categories or use the search bar to quickly find a character by keyword.
Select the special character you want to insert, and it will be added to your resume.
Add Icons and Logos
You can add icons through the “Icons and Logos” feature. Please follow the steps below:
Go to the resume editing page.
Click the location in your resume where you want to insert an icon.
In the top toolbar, select “Icons and Logos”.
Browse through the seven themed categories provided by Cake, or use the search bar to quickly find the icon you need by entering a keyword.
Click the icon you want to add, and it will be inserted into your resume.
