Cake provides flexible paragraph page break and page separator features, allowing users to customize their resumes. The instructions below explain how to use these features:

  • Add a Page Break Snippet

  • Add a Page Separator Snippet

Add a Page Break Snippet

The red dashed line indicates the default A4 page size. You can adjust page breaks by adding a "Page Break" snippet. Follow these steps:

  1. In the resume editor, click the position where you want to insert a page break.

  2. Click the blue + button to open the snippet list on the right side, then select "Page Break".

  3. Drag the Page Break block to the desired location in your resume. Release it once a "green outline" appears.

Note: Page break effects will only appear in the downloaded PDF. They will not be displayed in the preview mode.

Add a Page Separator Snippet

Adding a "Page Separator" helps create clearer structure and improves readability. Follow these steps:

  1. In the resume editor, select the section where you want to insert a page separator.

  2. Click the blue “+” button to open the snippet list on the right side, then select Page Separator.

  3. Drag the Page Separator Snippet to the desired location in your resume. Release it once a "green outline" appears to successfully insert the separator.

Note: If you remove the style of a page separator, a blank page separation will remain in the editor. To completely delete the separator, please use the delete function in the right-side Snippet Editor.
