How to Cancel Cake Resume Advanced/Pro/Premium Plan Subscription on Cake?

Cake uses a subscription-based service. Users can subscribe or cancel resume upgrade plans (Cake Premium, Cake Advanced, Cake Pro) at any time. The following explains the related steps and important notes:

How to Check the Current Plan

  1. Click the profile avatar in the top-right corner to open the dropdown menu.

  2. Select "Plan Details & Billing".

Note: If the plan shown is Cake Basic, it means no resume upgrade plan is currently active.


How to Cancel a Subscription

  1. Click the profile avatar in the top-right corner to open the dropdown menu.

  2. Select “Plan Details & Billing".

  3. Click “Manage Subscription".

  4. Click “Cancel Subscription" to complete the process.


How to Request a Refund

Cake provide first-time subscribers request refunds within 7 days after successful payment, please contact us via this form to request a full refund, The process will be handled by the customer support team. Requests submitted after the 7-day period will not be accepted. Due to the Lunar New Year holiday (February 14–22), any Cake 7 Days Trial Refund Request submitted during this period will be processed sequentially starting from February 23. Thank you for your understanding.


Impact after Cancellation

After a resume upgrade plan is canceled or expires, the following will apply:

  • All resumes created during the upgrade period will be retained and will not be deleted.

  • All resumes can still be viewed, shared, and downloaded.

  • Only the first resume created (the earliest by creation date) can be edited; all other resumes will be limited to viewing, sharing, and downloading.

  • Once the plan is upgraded again, editing access to all resumes will be restored.
