How to Create / Edit Jobs and Adjust Job Posting Status?

Before posting a job on Cake, employers must first create an account and set up a career page. You may refer to [How to Create a Career Page] for more information.

This article explains how to create and edit job posts, as well as how to adjust the job posting status:

How to Create a New Job Project / New Job Post

Create a Job Project

  1. Go to Cake for Employers > ATS > Jobs

  2. Click the “Add Job” button in the top right corner

  3. Enter the job title and description, then click “Add Job Project” to finish

Create a Job Post

  1. Go to Cake for Employers > ATS > Jobs

  2. Click the “Add Job” button in the top right corner

  3. Check the “Post Job” box in the bottom right, fill in the job title and description, and click “Add Job”

  4. Fill in additional job details as needed, then click “Update”

  5. You may optionally add other hiring team members and click “Next”

  6. You may add up to 3 short-answer custom questions for applicants. Click “Update” to complete the setup


How to Edit a Job Post

  1. Go to Cake for Employers > ATS > Jobs

  2. Click the Edit button on the right side of the job to open the editing view


How to Adjust Job Posting Status

  1. Go to Cake for Employers > ATS > Jobs

  2. Use the dropdown menu under the Job Status column to adjust the visibility:

  • Published

    Job is publicly listed on both Cake Job Search and your career page. Job seekers can apply the job on Cake.

  • Link Only

    Job is not publicly listed but accessible via a direct link. Job seekers can still apply on Cake using the link.

  • Private (Job Project)

    Job is not publicly listed. It is a private Job Project, visible only to internal team members.
