The Cake AI Chrome Extension lets you run a one-click Job Insights analysis on any job listing you're browsing without having to copy and paste the URL into Cake. Below is a detailed guide on how to use it:
Install the Extension
Start the Analysis
View Your Results
Install the Extension
Go to the Cake AI Chrome Extension page on the Chrome Web Store and follow these steps:
Click "Add to Chrome".
In the confirmation dialog, click "Add extension".
Once installed, click the "Extensions icon" in your browser toolbar, then click the "pin icon" next to Cake AI - Job Analysis to pin it to your toolbar.

Start the Analysis
Click the Cake icon in your browser toolbar to open the extension popup.
Click "Sign in to Cake".
Already signed in: You'll be redirected to your Cake profile page.
Not signed in: You'll be redirected to the Cake login page. Complete sign-in to use the extension.
Navigate to other supported job platform and open one job listing.
Click the Cake icon in your browser toolbar to open the extension popup.
The extension will automatically detect the current job and display:Job title, company, and source platform
e.g. Marketing Associate | ShopBack | LinkedIn
Your remaining credits
Click "Start Analysis" to begin. Each analysis costs 18 credits.
Once done, the extension will show "Job Saved to Cake AI for Analysis".
The analyzed job with display a match result badge.

Note: Make sure you have completed setting up your Career Strategy before using this feature. Analysis results are based on your Career Strategy. In the promotion period, only need 9 credits to analyze job insights.
View Your Results
Your previously analyzed jobs are also listed in the popup for quick reference.
Click on the job in the extension popup to open the full detailed report on Cake, which includes:
Match Analysis: Overall Match Conclusion, Skills & Experience, Job Preferences, and Culture & Environment
Salary & Benefits: Salary Benchmark, Benefits, and Salary Trajectory
Interview Strategy: Position analysis, Positioning strategy, Key experiences, Things to prepare, Questions to ask
